TCF is a tissue culture facility that specializes in the multiplication of new generation clonal rootstocks for the fruit and vine industry of South Africa.
– THE FACILITY IS ESTABLISHED IN 2020 –
The facility is supported by Hortgro Pome & Stone, SATI, IPV, Raisins SA, SAPO. The WCDoA supports TCF to facilitate importing new varieties through tissue culture quarentine.
– THE FOCUS WILL BE ON THE FOLLOWING VARIETIES –
Apple rootstocks including the Geneva range, clonal stone fruit rootstocks (Flordaguard, Viking, Atlas, GF677 etc.) cherries and vines.
